1. What information we collect

When you create an account or participate in the event, we collect the following:

• Name or alias
• Email address
• Password (encrypted and never visible to us)
• Your submitted answers and points
• Basic technical data such as IP address and device information (handled automatically by our hosting providers)

2. Why we collect your data

We only collect data to make the event work. Your information is used to:

• Create and manage your account
• Send the daily challenge emails
• Store your answers and calculate your results
• Display your score on the leaderboard
• Improve future editions of the event

3. Where your data is stored

PM Master Quest uses trusted, secure services to run the event:

• Supabase (EU) — stores accounts, answers, and scores
• Vercel (EU/US) — hosts the website and handles basic logs
• Resend (US) — sends transactional emails
• Google Workspace (EU) — receives messages sent to our support email

All services follow industry-standard security practices.

4. How long we keep your data

Account data and challenge results are kept for as long as your PM Master Quest account remains active. You can request deletion at any time.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data
• Correct your information
• Delete your account (“right to be forgotten”)
• Request that we stop processing your data

6. Cookies

PM Master Quest does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. Only essential technical cookies may be used by hosting providers to keep the site secure.
